Q: Is Radic8 similar to a corona discharge ozone technology?
A: No, Radic8′s PCO technology is safe and much more advanced than CD ozone technologies. Corona discharge ozone generators are designed for use with oxygen or dried air, when room air is used, as in many of the CD ozone generators on the market, the moisture in the air creates nitric acid or nitric oxide, which causes an extremely corrosive atmosphere and actually creates an air pollutant - nitric oxide gas. PO ozone created by UV light does not carry these risks.

A: The inside of Radic8 units are self cleaning, the exterior will require frequent dusting. An annual bulb replacement is the only maintenance required.
