GP Waiting Rooms are advising their patients to bring their own magazines to stop germs spreading

Magazines are being taken out of doctors surgeries, not because they are out of date but to stop the spreading of germs. The practice manager of Tudor Lodge surgery in Weston-super-Mare, Val Denton, said that they had banned both magazines and children’s toys. The ban came into play after the last flu pandemic and they have continued the practice ever since. Wipeable and covered benches are also becoming much more popular in waiting rooms. The big question to ask here is: What is being done about the real danger of Airborne Cross Contamination??
