Chamber testing vs. aerosolized challenges

In a laboratory environment, a challenge is the exposure of bioaerosolized microorganism to a testing chamber.
RNA virus. MS2 is used as a surrogate for airborne pathogenic respiratory viruses, such as influenza and SARS-CoV-2.
DNA virus. The PhiX 174 bacteriophage is a single-stranded DNA virus and is a surrogate for herpes simplex and smallpox viruses.
Gram+ bacteria. Part of natural human flora, it can enter the body through blood, cough and wound secretion, and skin contact and is a surrogate for bacteria causing staph infection.
Gram- bacteria. Can cause human infections by wound infection or as a hospital-acquired infection and is a surrogate for bacteria causing black plague.
Gram- bacteria. E. coli is a common coliform bacteria that can cause diarrhea, urinary tract infections, respiratory illness, pneumonia, and other illness.
Fungal spore. Previously known as A. Niger, is one of the most common sources of toxic black mold. While rare, it can also cause aspergillosis, a serious lung infection.
Bacterial spore. Representing the most resilient microorganism, it serves as a model for Anthrax and a surrogate for Clostridioides difficile, a common hospital pathogen.
The VK Pro was placed in a 16m3 chamber equipped with laboratory-grade sensors and detection equipment.
First, as a control, each challenge was introduced to the chamber with the device switched off, and the results measured (red line in the results below). Then, the test was repeated three separate times with the device running at the highest fan speed. The resulting data from the sensors was averaged across the three tests (blue line).
The VK Pro achieved a 99.9999% reduction in aerosolized MS2 within 60 minutes.

The VK Pro achieved a 99.99999% reduction in aerosolized Staphylococcus Epidermidis within 60 minutes.
The VK Pro achieved a 99.999% reduction in Pantoea Agglomerans within 60 minutes.
The VK Pro achieved a 99.999% reduction in E. Coli within 90 minutes.
The VK Pro achieved a 99.999% reduction in Aspergillus Brasiliensis within 60 minutes.
The VK Pro achieved a 99.999% reduction in Bacillus Subtilis within 90 minutes.
