The VK Pro is a plug-and-play device that can be placed freestanding in the center of a room or at least 200mm (8”) from a wall for optimal air intake and clean air delivery.

Each Radic8 device has a range of adjustable fan speeds, allowing the user to determine the optimal balance between background noise and airflow coverage. On their highest speeds, the larger Radic8 devices are comparable in noise to typical fans, air conditioning or cooling systems.

Yes, the VK Pro is built tough to withstand the rigors of both private and public spaces. It features a control panel lock to prevent the device settings from being changed by the public or even children.

Placement of the VK Pro is very important, taking airflow into account and minimizing obstructions. We recommend placing the device centrally for maximum benefit and ensuring that it is at least 200mm (8”) from a wall.

The VK Pro features built-in, precise VOC and PM sensors. In Auto mode, when high concentrations of VOCs or PM are detected at the intake, the VK Pro automatically adjusts the fan speed to compensate. Once concentrations of VOCs or PM decrease, the fan speed will return to normal.

The VK Pro comes standard with a remote control that allows you to quickly change the device settings or switch between various modes. Alternatively, you can manually change the settings on the control panel.

The VK Pro features castor wheels to move the device quickly and easily into the desired position. However, Radic8 recommends it is installed and operates in the same space for optimal clean air performance.

The VK Pro is built with various technologies to trap particulate matter, adsorb VOCs, and destroy airborne viruses and bacteria, and is designed to deliver clean, high-quality air. However, please note that no air purifier can guarantee the prevention of airborne illness, the spread of airborne viruses, or the alleviation of allergy symptoms.

The form factor of the VK Pro is designed to draw exhaled air down towards the intake, safely away from occupants, and release clean air at head height where it can be breathed in, even in busy or highly trafficked spaces.

The VK Pro’s dual sets of carbon filter and H14 HEPA filters are both rated for 6 months or 4,000 hours of use, depending on the environment in which it operates.
